NJI Administrator Pays Courtesy Call on EFCC Chairman

The Administrator of the National Judicial Institute (NJI), Hon. Justice Babatunde Adejumo, paid a courtesy call on the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), today. The visit is part of the Institute’s protocol and tradition of maintaining a strong relationship with the Commission.

Hon. Justice Adejumo emphasized the need for the NJI and EFCC to strengthen their corporate partnerships, highlighting the fundamental role of the EFCC in nation-building.

The Administrator noted that the NJI and EFCC can benefit from each other’s expertise, with the NJI poised to correct the public’s wrong perception of judicial officers.

The EFCC Chairman thanked Hon. Justice Adejumo for the visit, expressing satisfaction with the Administrator’s appointment and commitment to continuing the strong relationship between the two organizations.

 

In EFCC Chairman’s Remarks,

he described Hon. Justice Adejumo’s appointment as “a round peg in a round hole,” indicating that the Administrator is well-suited for his role. He assured the NJI of the EFCC’s continued cooperation and support.
